| After a fresh tune at SpecialtyZ a few weeks ago, I started to get itchy about seeing what the Z could do in the 1320' again after so many years away from driving her straight. New dyno numbers from the amazing tuning by SpecialtyZ: 91 octane, 15psi: 517rwhp / 466rwtq 100 octane, 23psi: 660/586 Q16, 25.5psi: 698/578 I posted this a few months ago: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2488370/3712-Bracket-Drags-Report---lots-of-Nissans.html ] which is when I ran 12.7@120mph at 13psi on street tires while practicing RT and getting the car tech'd for sub 11.5s runs (door bar, harnesses, etc.) I took the ole' Z out two Wednesdays ago with the wick turned up, with Seb and Dean at their phones to help me dial things in to make a good run. My goals for the night were as follows: 1) Don't get hurt 2) Don't break the Z 3) Beat my previous best (11.27@129mph) 4) Make a 10s pass
Well, I'm happy to report back that I was 75% successful. My best run of the night (only 5 runs) was 11.1@134mph, and I was warned that if I ran 135mph, my night would be cut short (135mph + requires an NHRA license as well as a slew of other goodies).
I have a better idea of how to set the suspension and tire pressure for the next time out. I also plan on disconnecting the front sway bar and dialing out the rear camber, both of which should help bring down that 60'. Here are some pics:

I'm a winner in their book.
